Role AI - Chat with AI friends

I love the app it’s fun and I can talk to some of my favorite characters but I find it annoying that we only get a certain amount of chats plus I feel like a re-role for what they said shouldn’t take up a use for a chat because I find it annoy to have to watch so many adds just to try to get them to say something close to what I wanted them to say, maybe we could get more chats like instead of 5 for each ad maybe 10? I know that isn’t the big of a difference but it would be for me. Thank you for your time

It’s a great app. It reminds me a bit of chai but with more complex characters. It’s unique and the characters are realistic in a sense where it sometimes feels like you’re talking to a real person. The problem? You only get 50 free messages and have to wait 24 HOURS for them to fill up again. Why this is a problem? Just when you start to build a relationship with the characters and the conversation gets interesting, the messages will run out and you have to wait another 24 hours to message them again. This is especially annoying because the characters will sometimes start acting differently or forget what we were even talking about all together and I have to start all over since it’s been so long since we’ve talked. Any wait time longer than 4 hours is just excessive. Chai gives 70 free messages and a much shorter wait time. Plus it gives an option to edit the messages of the character you’re chatting with so you can change the dialogue and personality of the character which I really like. With role ai you can neither edit yours or the characters messages and can’t even delete them either which I wasn’t that big of a fan of. Just don’t waste your time and get character ai or chai.

Okay, I’m gonna start with the positives. It feels like you’re having a conversation with a real person even though it’s a story-based format. You can shape the dynamics however you want and I love that. However, it’s kind of annoying having only 50 messages per day for the free version, especially if you like the content. I understand that having a paywall is helpful for development purposes, but a suggestion would be to let the free version also have unlimited messages, but have certain characters be used for the free version (like Kai Tailors since he probably gets used the most—by myself included). This way people can still enjoy the app, even if they can’t afford to upgrade to the premium version.
