I’m a huge fan of having different ringtones for all my contacts. I downloaded Ringtune because I loved the variety it offered. The app’s collection is very diverse, the genres, the visuals. I’ve set up tones for my friends and family, so every call feels extra special to me. Plus, the call screens with contact posters are adorable—I love how they make me feel connected with my friends who live abroad or distant family members. I miss them so very much and the posters I’ve chosen for them lift my mood a bit 😍 It’s easy to choose a matching sound for each person. There are many cool options in the app, from popular hits to quirky tunes, so there’s always something new to try out. You won’t get bored and can change the tunes as often as you need to. Usually, I pick something new when my mood or the season changes. Btw, the battery charging animations are also very nice. Ringtune has everything you need to keep things looking and sounding just right, that’s what I love about this app the most!
We all understand that apps always have something’s in them that require a subscription. However, idk if it’s just me, but it feels like too many things on this app require subscriptions. It’s a ringtone app, and some people do not have the money for that kind of thing. Not to mention, most people download this, and think, “Oh, yay! I’ll get some pretty cool ringtones!!”, but instead, it requires a subscription for a singular ringtone, that you probably should at least give someone the option between getting the subscription or watching an advertisement, like you do with the battery charging screen. It’s kinda dumb. I got the app so that I could have ringtones, and the ads for the app itself mention nothing on the fact that most of the app requires a premium subscription. Maybe change it to where you could watch an ad, rather than pay, for the ringtone, and if you don’t really want to because that’s already a choice for the battery charging screen, then switch ‘em around! But, other than that, good app.
I’ll say first off I wish everyone would quit paying these ridiculous recurring fees and stop this ridiculous trend that is now on EVERY APP, I will not rate above 1 star for outrageous recurring fees. I’m all for the creators to get paid for their work, but almost no app is worth these prices! especially for stuff like this that I MIGHT USE ONLY A FEW TIMES A YEAR AT MOST! The app, so far, seems to be a decent app, but DEFINITELY NOT $5 a week/$35 a year decent, so after the free trial I’m canceling it for sure (it’s sad that recently if you cancel your “subscription” it stops you free trial also, knowing/hoping people like me forget to cancel it after the 3-4days. When we were able to in the past…) MAYBE, I would reluctantly pay $0.50-$1.75 a week at most or $15-$20for a single lifetime fee, at MOST like everything used to be. Like previously stated NO APP is worth these ridiculous recurring payments (to be exact **$260** for one year of weekly payments or $35 for a year) I might be alone in this, but from now on EVERY app I see with these recurring payments is definitely getting one star. in the past I almost never would leave a bad review unless it really deserved it, but I would typically go out of my way to leave a good review if it was a decent app (especially if developed from a smaller dev or individual) but I hope people will join me in this and maybe we can find a happy medium… if not for the ridiculous recurring payments, I’ll be honestly and say I’d give this app a 4-5star review
