The product is really good, but unfortunately not very friendly or practical. For me most, more than 99%, of the photos I need to fix do not reside on my phone. They are on my computer and/or another website. When I asked support their reply… upload them to your phone. Really. So, once burned twice learned. Next, if I understand how the process works, was unable to use multiple aspects of the app. Instead, I had to use one part, save it then retrieve it again to use another part save it etc, etc. Again, it works really well just cumbersome, not customer friendly nor flexible enough for the average persons needs.
It took me hours to get it right, but I finally got some photos out of this that absolutely made me cry. After days of having some photos look neon and strange colors. Suddenly, one day a picture looked modern! It does change the face slightly when you don’t want the face changed. Family photos everyone is wearing The same color blue. Even the girls. So my black and white baby pictures turned out with blue outfits. Sometimes a strange pink and purple. Then all of a sudden one day the picture turns out looking modern! A clear picture without weird coloring. It is hit and miss. You have to work hours to finally get the app to do what it is you need. But a couple of really great photos of my grandparents were worth the $10 for the whole week of other pictures not turning out at all. Not every photo is going to turn out . I know I unsubscribed on time . But the app is still charging me, so I cannot get into any other apps, until I keep paying these people! So unfortunately, the past two weeks I have not been using this app, yet I have been charged. 1) Fix the extremely weird color problem 2) don’t make people look like someone else 3)don’t make people work for hours to get a few good pictures. 4) quit charging us after we’ve unsubscribed . Shame on you! 5) I gave you one star. Stop charging me! I haven’t even opened your app in three weeks. Why are you still trying to charge me $9.99 a week?! A couple of pictures made me cry. Worth the $10 for the whole week.
I have to be honest because it’s a free app and I wasn’t willing to spend money to pay for a subscription. My expectations were not high. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could renew restore, colorize, and even animate photos for free and it wasn’t based on a limited number of photos per day as far as I can tell or some kind of obscure in app currency that you only get a certain amount of per day or have to pay for more once you use it all up You do have to watch an ad every time you want to animate or fix a photo, but I see that as a perfectly fair trade-off for a really effective free app. That I tried to animate a photo of my dog with her puppies and apparently this app really only works well for human faces because it made her look like a really freaky demon dog. Now you don’t get to tell it what you want animated or how you want the animation to look so it’s kind of hit or miss and it tends to lean towards smiles and happy photo results so it doesn’t do well with moody or sad photos but still it’s free and it actually works. Honestly, I’d give it five stars if you could animate a dog without putting a weird human like face on it.
