Remote for LG

Very disappointing. Oh but imagine the rewards we will reap through “innovation” spawned by honest “competition”. I’ll admit I don’t run a television manufacturer. But when I couldn’t tell my father that he could come visit me to watch the Tigers game, unless we watched it on my IPhone on Bally Sports - Detroit? Well our rendezvous failed to materialize because it was no longer as easy as clicking on the upper right corner of my IPhone screen to merge two devices on the same WiFi signal? Haha yes it’s not that big a deal but maybe it is. If only I could leave 0 Stars. The Machine 1 Man 0 on this splendid day that capitalism dictates such an occurrence. Guess I should’ve just taken him to Comerica Park for a glorious, come from behind, 4-3 win. I mean I’m sure that wouldn’t have made me feel gouged out of money that would’ve been better served for the “greater good” perhaps? I could get entertaining athletes to show up to play games, inside of any sport, for a daily food per diem and a shot at NIL money. They’d be fighting over the chance to do it! Wait, maybe that already happened? Don’t forget the amateur coaching staffs. I could promise the same outcome in recruiting them to show up too 😂😂 Ok back to reality. Tomorrow starts early. The app isn’t the greatest, but the convenience of being able to use the touchpad in the wed browser beats out using the phone. On both this app and LG THINQ app. Every 5 seconds or interaction with the apps. They are throwing in the subscriptions option up. Which by the way they both show 2 DIFFERENT RATES for essentially the “same” thing. Which I think that needs to be looked into because that’s false advertising. Also the fact the IP channels says they are free yet the subscription includes IP channels so I’m just confused on the scam they are running to compete with other competitors. The subscription option having to constantly being canceled out of every interaction with both apps isn’t pushing me to buy it, but rather not us it. I’m sure I can get a Bluetooth mouse instead and bypass the apps altogether. It’s pointless and unneeded. There needs to be laws or something to prevent constant and targeted spamming of subscriptions ads. I cancelled out of it once. That’s it. I’m not buying it. Either the remote option is free to use or it’s not. Pick one.

You buy an expensive refrigerator, then have to pay a monthly fee for the app. What a rip off. They don’t even have a representative to trouble shoot. How sad. It would be nice to be able to talk to someone if you have problems or questions. We needed help with leveling the refrigerator. It sits on the wheels. How do you level the refrigerator when the leveling legs don’t even touch the floor. If I use the app then disconnect or delete it does the refrigerator stop running? App features: Smart Learner - why do you need that. You go into the refrigerator to get food for breakfast, lunch & dinner, who cares about the pattern. If I go into the freezer for ice cream or into the refrigerator for a soda. I don’t want someone to track my patterns. Energy Monitoring - it uses power 24/7. Who cares how many times you open the doors. You open the doors to get something you need out. Remote Control - you program it and it just runs programmed. I don’t need to be on my phone any more than necessary. The control panel tells you when you need a new air &/or water filter. Push Messages - if the door stays open longer than 10 minutes. The electricity went out, the refrigerator died, or I have ghosts. Smart Sabbath - would be nice for that.
