This is one of the best apps out there, just one suggestion is that could you please separate the language of the UI elements and the content. For ex: when I select eng then the app ui and even the shayari content also turns to English script. Could we split those two sections such that those could be individually selected. This way we can read the content in Hindi script but still keep the UI navigation elements in English for easy navigation.
It’s a very buggy app. Does not work, most of the time. Frequently see “JSON connection error”. Screens do not load on clicking on the links. The app makes it challenging for the readers to access trove of treasure which the content team has provided. I revert back to web most of the time.
Rekhta has rendered invaluable contribution to the hindustan culture and the content is beyond pale. Most people use the site through their mobile device yet the mobile app and the interface is poorly designed, buggy and difficult to use. It is time for Rekhta to focus some of their resources on rebuilding the app to enhance both user experience and grow their audience. It has huge potential that remains unexplored.
Rekhta is the world’s largest portal for Urdu poetry and literature. This app presents all Urdu ghazals, sher, nazms, rubai, qita, dohe, stories, etc....
