Reelshot: Vlog Camera App

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time! It removes so much of the friction that usually comes with recording on my phone. Instead of scattered clips across my camera roll, everything can live in one place. Features like the date/time stamp are something I’ve always wanted for a home-movie style look, and Discrete Mode, which lets me film horizontal while holding my phone vertically, makes recording feel natural and low-pressure. Between those, recording directly in the app, and the widgets for quick access to your current project, vlogging feels effortless and enjoyable! I also can’t say enough good things about the team behind the app. I reached out with a camera issue, and they were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and kind throughout the process — and fixed it quickly. Does just what it says! Super easy to work. Love the portrait a day feature. It’s like everything you need to make a reel is built into the app. Using this I was able to delete other apps and save some space. Also the team behind the app seems really cool and they are responsive on social media. I love love love that I can easily group my photos together and go through by week! I actually forgot I had been to some places until I looked at my photos through the app. It’s super easy to edit and their Instagram even has templates. I’m Hoping they continue to improve the app. I’m impressed. I never sign up for an app longer than a month to month basis unless I really liked it. I used this app for 10 minutes and purchased a year subscription. Forever sub just might be next.

I was looking for an app that would make it easy to edit my videos and I’ve found it with this app! I love how I can take my videos and make quick snapshots of my life and my yearly recap, and then I can easily trim it to whatever length I want for each clip in one tap and I don’t have to do it manually like other apps. And the selfie portrait feature is so fun to use! It’s pretty crazy looking back at my selfies over a month time. Anyone who likes to edit their videos and wants an easy app to do it, would highly recommend this one!
