RedteaGO: eSIM Travel Internet

So I brought and used RedteaGO data plan when I was in China. Good internet connection so I’m happy there. What I didn’t like was that I had issue with payment. But that was a minor issue at the time. I resolved it. Another issue was that I got a small cheap data plan first to test and use. Since service was good, I brought a bigger package. The problem is that when I brought bigger data plan and named it, I wanted to finish the old one first. But RedteaGO swap the naming. So I been using the new plan. This is a minor issue but it was still a hassle. So overall, I like the internet connection/service from this company but there are small minor issues here and there. So I took a star. 4 out of 5 star.

I am new to eSIM and is pleasantly surprise how RedTeaGo is able to provide me with a stable and reliable data connection even though I only need it for a day in Singapore. Not only is the price very competitive, the speed was responsive and the app is informative in providing the exact time from when to when the eSIM would be active. Installation and usage is also very simple. As a bonus it allows hotspot sharing from my phone to others in my group! I would use it again.

1GB data only plan worked great for Germany. Very cheap at $2. Speed and coverage was fine for the price, though less than a premium plan. It allowed me to keep my Mint Mobile sim active during the trip, paying $0.05/message and $0.25/minute via Mint for the rare call I accepted yet route all my data usage through this data sim. I noticed some countries are considerably more expensive. Also noticed data usage updates for the sim seemed to happen daily or weekly, so often in the dark on remaining data. Def would recommend.
