This service was great in parts - excellent buses + pleasant drivers, so top marks for Watermill Coaches. However the booking system was dreadful. The app was not user friendly and it was impossible to guarantee a bus at any given time so for things like hospital appointments it was an extremely stressful situation. I’m delighted to hear the 41 Insch/Inverurie timetable will be reinstated on 3rd April. That will hopefully guarantee a reliable service for those with no alternative transport and allow drivers to leave their cars at home so saving on harmful emissions. ‘Green travel’ is only possible with a reliable alternative!
First time using ready 2 go, downloaded the app, booked around the time we were looking for, got confirmation and regular updates, bus was on time and very friendly lady driver, will definitely use again.
I have used this service on a number of occasions with great service, however there has been a few circumstances that the service hasn’t delivered. For example I had booked a Journey at 17 . 30 to Rothienorman from Inverurie I was at the pick up Point and no bus, I walked round to the train station to get a taxi and there was two buses sitting in between the entrance to Brendon site. I am deeply disappointed at the current service?
