Qoncert: Live Shows

I was skeptical to do a show with Qoncert at first because I didn’t know who was running what and how things were done, but Hyp made time and helped me get my first show under my belt. Honestly a really solid person and wants the best for independent artists. Qoncert generally seems to attract a lot of rappers but they are actively trying to open up more opportunities for artists in other genres. Met some really cool people and local artists through it. Highly recommend if you’re looking to do more shows.

It’s a good app for new artists trying to be out there. However there are some things I feel may help the artist & people who want to purchase tickets. First off, selling 30 tickets is tough for new artists. Making that a minimum requirement is unrealistic. 5-10 at a minimum is a reasonable amount to sell for artists that wants to get use to selling tickets. It’s a good goal. Second, please make individual links for artists to use if you are going to do online tickets. Having a link go to all shows can be frustrating for the people trying to purchase tickets & make it difficult for the artists to properly promote the show. Those are the only two things I would say is frustrating about the app, but overall is good app for artists to get on shows.

I would definitely recommend this app to any artist (especially new artists) that wants to learn what goes behind the scenes and find out what it takes to put on a show, whether it's opening up for other artists, networking or getting your feet wet on the stage! I personally have learned much about the business and putting together the pieces to make it work! Not to mention I get to figure out which songs work for different crowds or venues and actually perfect my own performances for the future!
