Public: Invest & Trade

Without exaggerating, it is now my favorite brokerage to use! It’s almost perfect, I don’t say that because there’s anything wrong or bad with the platform. Let me explain, as an active daily trader with multiple accounts across all of the popular platforms, rivals RobinHood in simplicity & information, it also has something that none of the other platforms have, the Alpha AI assistant, it will not give you live data or trading advice, but any knowledge of trading you asked, for it delivers! Strategies, technical indicators, financial indicators, literally everything, Alpha knows, it even goes beyond and will tell you popular ways and suggestions on how to use them all together, It’s astonishing, and very unique! They also regularly update to prevent any bugs or problems. Now comes the “almost”, I wish that the Charts were more in depth & interactive, you cannot charge technical indicators and such, totally not a big deal, that’s just my style of trading. I like to have everything in one place. But even without that I still use it as my main brokerage. I’m sure there are people that will find things that they don’t like. But before long, this will definitely be one of the top trading apps. I suggest to everybody to give it a shot!

I have tried a number of investing apps over the years, and wasn’t completely satisfied with any of them until I came across Public. I’ve been a member for a little over a year, and I am astounded at not only the ease of use of this platform, but the numerous updated and upgrades the company has made in its offerings to the public. I love the fact this is a one-stop shop for all sorts of investment vehicles. The only thing I cannot do here is open an IRA, but so what? I can open an IRA anywhere, but I can’t do just about everything else anywhere else like I can on Public. I have had no issues with the service, and the customer support from people like Jeff and other has been exceptional. I do want to add that this criticism that you have to wait a few days for your funds to transfer into your bank account is utterly ridiculous. Public is no different from any other company in this regard. If I try to move money from my checking account at one bank to a savings account at another, it always takes 3-5 days. That said, more often than not, my money with Public gets transferred within 1-2 days. In short, I highly recommend this platform, especially for those who are new to investing. I haven’t regretted my decision to move my funds to this company.

First off, I have never left a review before even though I’m glued to my phone all day. I downloaded the public app a few weeks ago. My account was not approved instantly (typo on my part, I found out later) and after a few days I emailed the support team and asked for help. They responded in like, an hour, gave me instructions to get trading, and was then approved right away. Anyone under 40 with disposable income should, IMO, be investing directly investing in the market instead of relying on 401ks and other group plans. This app lays out all the info in a very intuitive fashion and within a week I was able to, with ZERO prior knowledge, navigate the app effectively, and the community of investors on the app are a fantastic source of investing advice. This is not a day trading app and the various transactions can take time, but by keeping money in your account without spending it allows you to execute buy and sell orders quickly, though the money may take a few days to get back to your public account. I am usually able to make two transactions per stock, per week, which is more than enough to react to any big market changes. The fact that you can invest whatever amount you want is huge. Amazon’s stock at $2.5k may be too much, but Public allows you to purchase slices of stock in increments as low as $5. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with some extra cash and half a brain.
