TradeStation - Trade & Invest

I’ve been using TradeStation and TradeStation mobile to place all of my trades for the past 2 years. The desktop version is by far my favorite. The mobile version is definitely getting better for me. There are a few times during high volatility days where the app will lag and I’ll have to close it and restart it but that’s my biggest complaint so far which could be more of my phones problem than their app. Only thing I’d love to see in the near future would be able to add a take profit/stop loss for options like the desktop has and a way to adjust it from the chart screen rather than cancel/replacing it on a different screen.

(And why does my previous 1-star review keep resetting to not rated?) This is a terrible, extremely unstable app. It crashes on me literally 15 times a day, mainly when I tap on a quote to display the corresponding chart, but sometimes for no reason at all. I also sometimes get logged out after just a few moments of using the app, also for no apparent reason, and regardless of my chosen settings. What makes the whole experience even more frustrating is that when logging back in, the app takes me to my “position quotes” (instead of “my quotes” as I wished), which are constantly moving up and down the list, making it virtually impossible to select one without engaging in a game of whack-a-mole. That is, when the quotes do not simply fail to load altogether. Icing on the cake, as of iOS 16 the 5-min chart will not display the most recent (current 5 min) candlestick. Prior to that, the chart would sometimes not display any candlesticks at all (just lines from the moving averages). Thank goodness I am not a hardcore day trader, I can’t imagine how anyone could be using this app. In any case, I will most likely be moving to a different platform.

I signed up for this service due to a promotion they were running that suggested they were giving out $10 of bitcoin immediately upon signup. Well that wasn’t the case, an agent informed me actually the prize was only if you fund the account. Okay……so I made a small deposit as I was told those were the new requirements. A few days pass and I call support yet again, only to be informed that the prize was now only to be administered 45 days after your first 60 days on the platform and the amount of bitcoin received was actually contingent on how much you deposit during your initial 60 day period. Okay……..so I waited more than three months. I called back and spoke to a gentleman that told me there was a delay and I would surely see the crypto reflected by the end of October. Okay…..so the end of November rolls around and I yet again call them just for them to tell me oh the conditions were not met because you did not deposit any crypto into your crypto account. Of course I didn’t!!! Those were not the terms I agreed to! None of it was, and the fact that they blatantly lied to me numerous times if that was in the terms (which it wasn’t) just goes to show how absolutely horrid their customer service is. I would recommend anyone not to use their services because they can’t even fulfill their own promotion when I did what was asked of me and then some. Seriously shows what to expect from them down the line if they can’t even gratify me with a measly $10. At this point it has become an issue regarding principle, obviously.
