I’ve learned a ton from Poker Coaching. Unfortunately, there are some bugs that make the iOS app a chore to use. Most notably: The videos randomly restart! I’ll be 5 minutes into a video, and then it starts over from the beginning for no apparent reason. This never happens on the website, but it happens almost every time I try to watch a video in the app. (Also, a note to developers: The “App Support” link in the App Store points to a 404 page.)

Now that quizzes load more reliably it has become a valued part of my study program. Quick easy access to a hand quiz with a professional to explain best way to play them. Replaced wooden puzzle and other brain training apps for those times when I am waiting or have a few minutes a down time.

Jonathan Little and his team have put together the most effective poker learning and practice resources available online, including this app. Since I began using it two months ago, taking the quizzes, employing the push/fold charts and listening to the lessons, my win taste in my local live tournament has tripled, and poker has become much more fun. Best poker investment I have ever made, and much more enjoyable than losing an equivalent amount of money!
