Another worthless app. No offline reading, which defeats the purpose of having a subscription. When you need assistance, P&P just can’t seem to find your email address. Of course, I’m sure they’ll be able to find all of my info when it comes time to renew my subscription!
So Plane and Pilot stopped mailing paper magazines to all subscribers and moved to a digital-only format. I install the app on my phone and table to be able to read the new issues, but no, the app is only for digital subscribers. I get the whole no publishing during COVID thing, but if you’re going to do that, at least provide a native mobile device experience (which already exists for digital subscribers). Don’t force me to read issues in a web browser.
P&P is a great magazine and the app is really nice. Some of the reviews accurately describe a problem with the app that prevents them from downloading the issues of the magazine they paid for through their subscription. I had the same problem, but solved it by deleting the app and reinstalling. The app then re-linked with my iCloud account and all of my purchased magazines were restored.
