I love this app… added pins since March 2023 of places I travelled, including all of the places we stopped on our honeymoon. A little over a year later, I’d open the app and it would crash before I could even view anything. App was updated, phone had been restarted. Nothing was working. I emailed the developers and they reached out to me immediately and resolved the issues within a few weeks. I didn’t have to stay in touch or remind them, they went above and beyond. They checked in with me once they did their fixes to make sure it worked on my end. Now I get to go back through and see all the beautiful memories I put in there 😊
I travel quite a bit for my photography, and spend time researching locations before I even leave the house. I like I can add photos and notes to my pins, but also organize them with tags (which I can choose colors and icons). So far it has been amazing to have all my pins in one place (right now I have over 300). The last app I used didn’t allow this feature and was forced to create separate maps for pins. The main reason for the five stars is the level of customer service that I have received from Andy. I reached out because I have a friend who I travel with and wanted him to have access to my pins but also be able add them as well. He walked me through the steps and now it works! Whenever I’ve had a question or concern he has answered quickly. So many apps you don’t even hear back from the developer. Thanks for the great app and service!
Free version seems pretty good for my needs, although I wish I could list multiple visits to one pin instead of just typing the dates in the description. Only 3 stars because I signed up for the subscription that includes the journal to see if it would suit my needs. I was supposed to get a 7-day free trial but was immediately charged, with no free trial so I’m having to request a refund. If the journal feature was good I’d have kept the subscription but it is terrible. I can’t find any way to edit an entry after the fact, or even delete an entry. Definitely not worth paying for. I will continue using the free version, so far I do really like it and it allows for everything I need with no cost, unlike other apps I tried. Again, I just really wish there was a better way to list multiple visits on each pin. Maybe a “trips” or “visits” section on the pin with date selection boxes (start/end dates). Would give 4 stars if not for the free trial issue, and would give 5 stars if a multiple visit feature were added.
