Photo Scanner: Scan old Albums

I literally have gone through so many other apps to find something good that works and all the other ones are trash. THIS ONE IS THE ONE YOU NEED. It is so easy and simple and they really understand what type of simplicity their users want. You just hold it over the photo. Don't need to do all the other crazy things of grabbing the edges blah blah blah. Simple. Easy. After scanning a photo a quick option comes up with a rotate or delete option. Perfect. That's all you need to debate in that moment. Did the print come out good? no? oh okay just remove that one really quick and let me try again. EASY. (my only critique is that the rotate button looks like a redo button but you'll learn after one mistake). Then after the photo scans it's already ready for another photo. BAM. after it's all done you can also go back and crop and edit edges BUT YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO. this app is GOOD and usually only a few you can see slivers of your background scan in the photo. these you can touch up. but other apps have a way lower success rate at capturing the whole photo and avoiding seeing the surface the picture is scanned on. I just wish they didn't make you pay after the first bunch. This is my request to please just add some more interesting features and make THAT the paid version. Why do you hate poor people I just want to scan my pictures and not pay a fee. Or just do a flat fee not a monthly payment. I'd do that tbh, this app is so good. But absolutely no monthly payments. After trying out a few other apps and not liking the subscription models and blurry images that resulted from them, I stumbled upon this app and quickly fell in love with it. What I love is the detail that is preserved from the photo, the awesome auto-cropping, the even more awesome manual cropping interface, and so much more. What I also love is no monthly subscription, just pay once and you’re done! The downside is this app will capture reflections, so you have to spend a couple hours initially finding the right angle, lighting, and wearing a black shirt and gloves to not get any reflections in the photos, but when you figure that out, it’s amazing how quickly you can digitize all of your photos. You can also set the time tag for all of the photos and that’s the date they will appear in any applications you move them to. Thank you for taking the time to make such a wonderful application!

Thanks so much for creating & developing this app. My father died when I was 2 years old (I’m 31) and I wanted to create a collage using old photos of him for Father’s Day. I haven’t had the best luck in the past - even with office scanners. But with your app, I was able to scan the photos easily and they look so amazing! Some other apps/tools will try to overcompensate for the lack of HD quality with over saturation, excessive contrast, etc. Your app maintained the authenticity yet somehow improved the quality without changing the overall feel and aesthetic of the photo from the original film. Thanks so much for helping me keep the memory of my dad alive!
