Philstar

I like to read philstar and the new layout looks good but you need a magnifying glass to read it. Please make the print bigger or adjustable.

Says update, but isn't loading. When attempting to redownload, it crashes constantly and repeats the same thing.

A good step in the right direction. Makes it much easier to access informative news than the Philippine Star Newsstand app. Although it feels like the screen estate on the iPad could be used more efficiently (perhaps provide option to configure line spacing?). User interface uses basic touch gestures, but I believe it can be better. Developer may consider improving how the newspaper sections are presented; instead of on/off toggles, sections may be segmented visually. Layout can also be more visually appealing by making images stand out more (perhaps make them larger?). Overall, a good app that makes news more accessible. It will find a place in my device and daily routine.
