Payactiv

I’m moving right now, so paying for the deposit, movers, etc, really drained my funds, and my payday was the day after first full month of rent was due. I downloaded this app, clicked single sign on and it took me to a pop up web browser. Pretty normal for single sign in, but once I signed in, it didn’t take me back to the app, I stayed in payactiv in the web browser. Initially, it brought me to a payactiv sign in page, which was confusing because I had just done the single sign in. I went out, tried again, and this time it let me in, but again all within the pop up browser. I closed the pop up browser, assuming it would take me to the same page on the app, but the app just loaded for about a minute. I went out and tried again, was brought to the sign in page again after I signed in. On my fourth time I was able to get my transaction complete, but infuriatingly, with banners all over the page and multiple pop ups telling me to download the app. That I had downloaded and was attempting to use at that very moment, that wouldn’t let me leave the pop up browser. I also got an apple pop up at least four times while using the app asking if they could share my location. Thanks for spotting me, but PLEASE fix your app functionality, especially if the web version people are forced to use is gonna show this many ads for your broken app.

My PayActiv account was not showing the hours I worked for the last 3 days, even though it showed it for all of last week. I chatted with their rep and he apologized for the inconvenience, but it still left me with no ability to get an advance on my next paycheck. Hours later I received a text message the issue has been resolved, but when I checked the app, it still did not show the hours I worked . I called customer service, was put on hold and then hung up on. I called back again and also chatted again and all I was told was sorry for the inconvenience. On the app I sent screen shots of my time card showing the days and hours that I worked , but those were rejected because it did not have my name or employer number on them. My company uses Unifocus so the time card does not show that information. So my time card which my company uses to pay me is not good enough for your app?? As of this minute , the app shows no hours worked for the past 3 days!! So because of there inconvenience, I have no access to my pay check and therefore have no money to buy food for today or to buy gas to get to work tomorrow!!!

When my employer sent out an email saying they were partnering with Payactiv and the benefits of it, I was excited! After using the app though, I was extremely disappointed. It seems like there is ALWAYS some kind of issue. At first I struggled with the “help chat”, and that seems to have been resolved. Then I struggled with my app updating once a month and showing pending for disbursements that had already been deducted from my paycheck (hasn’t been resolved). Now I am struggling with inaccurate fund availability. They tell you to send your time sheet to payactiv@notifyops and NOTHING EVER GETS UPDATED. I had a tire blow the other day and got it towed to a shop. I was short a little bit of cash, and had to get to work, so I told the shop I would return after work to pay for and pick up the vehicle. This happened in the morning, so I reached out to payactiv to see if they could update my balance, and waited, waited, WAITED... never updated. I reached out again in the afternoon, and was told it was sent with high priority to the concern department and they clearly weren’t concerned because my balance NEVER got updated. This company has a lot of work to do, especially in their customer service department. I know other companies that are partnered with this one too and if some of the things myself and others mentioned aren’t fixed, I will be putting in a request to partner with a different company. I hate payactiv
