Passionflix

Passionflix is more than a streaming service concept. It’s taking books to film and NOT leaving out important details. I was so tired of Hollywood rewrites that were nothing like the actual book. The romance genre (rom com/drama/suspense) are all included in the Passionflix original content. I love the Gabriel Series, The Will, Driven series, but I’ve also enjoyed the movies and series that have been released just this year- Wallbanger, Lick and also The Air He Breathes are all very well done. I’ve met Tosca and her team at PassionCon and at a set visit- they truly care about their writers/authors/actors and fans/audience. They are currently working on the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

I love Passionflix! I will continue to support Passionflix, and never cancel my membership. I think this streaming service is such a great idea. I have enjoyed every movie made, and look forward to many more. I know you all put 110% into each and every movie. I appreciate all of your hard work. However, I will say that the app & website are a little bit repetitive in my opinion. There are way to many categories that list the same movies multiple times. I guess this is a way of making the page seem more full, but it makes the page look a bit chaotic/busy. I would like to see the categories more simplified, and scaled back. I would also like to see the older movies/non Passionflix original content dropped off of the page. I know at one time those movies served a purpose when Passionflix was new, and didn’t have much original content. Now that they do have more original content, I don’t see the point of spending that extra money anymore for those older movies. Put that money towards making more original content. Plus a lot of the subscribers outside of the US can’t see those films on the page anyway. I would also keep the Behind The Scenes, Bloopers, and other special events in their own category.

I’m a Founding Member because of their original content and am thrilled with what’s being done. However, when it comes to the app there are features not currently available that I feel would dramatically enhance my experience. They are: subtitles on ALL movies, the app (and site) should keep track of where viewers previously stopped to resume from there, when stopping a movie it should go back to portrait mode if device is positioned so, rewind and skip-forward controls, the time should show with a tap of the screen while viewing a movie. As far as I can see, the only place to view ALL of the movies is from the BON after selecting ALL. I feel we should have a place on the home screen to do that with a few featured movies or most viewed this week and a See All link or something similar. All teasers, trailers, interviews, and BTS videos should NOT be included with movies but put in the Wine and Cheese Lounge.
