ParqEx Parking App

This app doesn’t even function. We were forced to sign up and use the app to pay for parking in our building, the same parking people have been using for years. Now having to go through the new payment system through the app, it doesn’t even show that we paid. The app continues to say they have no record of me in the system. Luckily, we don’t have to use the app to open the gate. Otherwise we would be locked out. So since we are compelled to use the app for parking payments, I have to screenshot every so often to make sure I have a record of my payments in the system. I’ve repeatedly submitted for email receipts, but they are never sent. so anyone using this system, make sure to screenshot any records you might see in the app for your own records and verification. And keep any and all emails.

If you have a problem at odd hours support might not be available. Couldn’t get my car because the app or the garage system failed. 11pm needed to take toddler home. Loss time trying to get help to no avail. Had to take Uber and pick up car next day. Update: Company refunded charges and compensated for other expenses. They did their best to excuse for the issue. It sounds like it was an exceptional case of bad luck.

Becoming a commuter at Marquette in Milwaukee this year means that I need to find parking. Parking in Milwaukee, like any other city, is fairly difficult. Just a couple weeks ago, I have contacted ParqEx about finding perfect 24-hour available parking near campus. Within 24 hours, I was surely able to get a parking spot booked for this semester on 21st and Wells, get my questions were all answered from the renter, and I was able to reserve the spot at a very decent price (cheaper than Marquette parking). ParqEx is able to provide safe, overnight, anytime, decently priced, and stable parking to accommodate my commuting ideal for this semester. Would definitely recommend for upper classmen living in apartments on campus and/or commuters going in and out a lot so you don’t have to fight for a parking spot in Milwaukee.
