I traveled to Mesa for their original location and was so excited when I learned they have one in Scottsdale. I told so many family members that are now regulars. I bought my son’s birthday cake here including a box of pastries and 3 drinks. I spent well over $100 and did not have the app. They gave me the receipt but did not tell me I have a couple of days to scan it in. Had I known that I would’ve done it once I got Wi-Fi. I reached out to customer support and they said they will add it to my account. However when I have not heard back I reached out to them a couple of times after sending a picture of my receipt and they ignored my emails after the first one. I feel very misled and disappointed. I have not been back due since to poor customer service. They are busy and I doubt they will make things right because why care making a customer happy when they don’t need my business. I will look for another bakery that cares about their customers experience. I wasn’t looking for a free handout but explaining things correctly is on them.
I love this place thus far. It is such a nice change in Maple Grove. And the baguettes… reminds me of walking along the Seine in Paris with my thoughts. This is truly a french baguette. The Pain au Chocolat is great as is the Whole Red Bean bread. We have been back every weekend since they opened. The only change I would make it someone at the door greeting people letting them know what to do, and where to stand while making their selections and waiting to pay. The manage (not sure of le monsieur’s name) tries but he is only one man. Also, someone working there with basic French would be nice. Other than that, as mentioned above, an amazing addition!
Ordered 2 slices of cake & 2 drinks about 2 weeks before my schedule date (Valentines day) just to be called few minutes before I expected my order to be delivered that they did not have any of the items I had ordered days before hand. What’s the point of me ordering when they won’t even hold my order? Was told it sold out? The only good thing is that I was told I can either replace or get a refund. I ended up asking for the refund because I wanted those specific items and it’s just so unorganized. It was confusing when they said I’d have to communicate with my Postmates to receive my refund. I assume they do their deliveries from there? But I do not have a postmates account and ordered straight from this app.. It’s been almost a whole month and have yet to receive my refund.. It’s just so disappointing as a first time buyer.. Especially for a small order.
