I seem to play this more than my other games for the relaxation. Keeps my mind active without being pressured to join a club or alliance and perform at a pace I don’t care for. I’m at level 13 and have upgraded to a fairly high level octopus (Red) without spending a fortune. The update did set back some skills and slowed progress but offered more variety in game play. I wouldn’t want to lose my progress on a glitch so let’s fix that! I can see becoming worn out trying to level up some facets in the game from here… every upgrade costs more of course. (99 levels is insane) The levels require strategy so that you are able to conquer higher value fish to keep up with the inflation, easier said than done😂 I am ready for the trench to open, hoping you’ll have that soon. This game lets you go at your own pace. Allows you to upgrade steadily even if you don’t buy anything. The developers seem to add improvement remedies as needed so they do care. For this they get 5 stars from me.
I love playing this game, I spend most of the time I on my phone that I have free playing, some issues I have noticed is that a lot of the upgrades don’t do anything, health refresh, Shield, slow enemies, when upgraded almost to max have still no effect. The submarine once completed crashed the game and causes it to not load fully to open, Only solved by deleting the game and redownloading. With no saving progress on Game Center this takes days to get back to current level. Huge setback and may cause my to not play if happens again :( Leveling is super slow witch is not a bad thing however being stuck in certain locations with smaller pools of diversity can be annoying and high priced for certain items almost seem unattainable ***some upgrades don’t affect in game at all ***once completed the submarine, game crashes and resets, only solved by deleting game and losing progress, annoying*****super high prices for doors and upgrades with little to no way to collect enough in a day to acheave the goal, maybe bosses with high drop rates that level? Or some sort of minigame with a slightly higher drop rate?** Forgot to add the seasonal things like pirates, oil barrels, floats, are not affected by max or upgraded catching speed what so ever, and 15K is an insane number for 1st place without buying, seems like a cop out for money 👎🏾 How do I open Nemo’s door?
I have been playing this game for a little over a week and am currently level 7. The mechanics and chomp sounds are extremely satisfying during gameplay! It is a super fun, SUPER addictive game and thus far I have not been bombarded with ads. The game, for me, has been exactly what was advertised and that’s a big deal for me since most game advertising is VERY different from what it’s actually like. However; I have run into a few very frustrating bugs with the game. Chiefly I have an issue with the black market perks, I have completely upgraded all the perks in black market for the level 2 octopus and 1. It still has not upgraded to the level 3 purple octopus. 2. I have noticed that the greedy perk has dwindled. I had been getting a lot of fish bones and shells ect. after upgrading the greedy perk but once I close the app it resets it back to low reward amount for the currency effectively making leveling up and collecting currency extremely difficult. The next issue I have is with catching the submarines and the scuba divers; they are always able to go into areas we can’t and or swim through the walls giving them an unfair advantage taking me back to my currency issue. If I could collect enough currency in a reasonable amount of time then I could upgrade my catching speed which would hopefully make catching the submarines easier. But since the perk resets when you close or refresh the app it makes upgrading your octopus difficult. I do also want to add a side note that I agree with a lot of other people that I would like more customization of the octopus but I don’t feel it’s a necessity for the game as the game does provide some switch up with the upgrading, but a little extra special modifications would be cool.
