Barbie™ Merge Mystery

Overall I really enjoy this game but there are a few things that make the gameplay downright annoying. Recently one of the updates made it so that you’re unable to trash any of the tool items, even if they’re just pieces and not the full leveled up item. This leads to a lot of wasted space on the game board. I’m constantly running out of space and not being able to get rid of items is annoying. There’s also the issue that some of the bubbles you get after merging an item, can be purchased or you can watch an ad. This is nice, except the ad button replaces the trash button. So your only option is the watch the ad or wait until the time runs out for this item to go away. Again, when you’re low on space, this is an issue. The powerups are very difficult to get in the game. I’ve probably gotten less than five total the whole time I’ve been playing, which is super uncommon in a game like this. Having the scissors be more likely to show up would be really helpful. There are also four or five pop ups every single time you open the app trying to get you to buy something, which in a game advertised to children, I find pretty insidious. Things I do like, are the general gameplay, the storylines, and the character development. It’s nothing complex but it’s enough to be entertaining. The events are fun and keep me coming back. I like the different items that you unlock and the overall design of the app. The art style is fun and it’s an easy game to play.

They only have a robot that isnt very helpful if you have an issue. Like as of right now all of my orders only have tool boxes as rewards and there is none for coin prizes. There is way to many objects that produce items and they level in which they get a storage spot is absolutely ridiculous. not to mention for some reason the size of the board never grows even after youve been playing for awhile. Bubble objects are really annoying and should always come with an option to be popped. Feels like yall are just forcing us to watch the ads or wait five minutes for the stupid bubble to disappear, as again there isnt enough space. I was been playing for weeks and still not to the mystery of level 30 which honestly I am getting a little bored of the game and it would be smart to put that at a lower level to actually make your game interesting. Also I hate how you get to make zero decisions about your map. you spend all this time trying to get coins for upgrades and then you dont even get to customize your map. I dont know but its an alright concept that feels like it has fallen short of all my expectations.

Love this game and all the little nods to vintage and current sets and dolls. I have now reached a point where I have all the fabric and crafts supplies taking up the board and the luggage cart is only dropping keys and signs. Please check into the rolls or percentage to get more of the two other tiers now that the goals are always pillows or relaxation items!! This is truly a delightful game and yet I end up switching to other games out of frustration. I especially love how detailed the visual designs for the Barbie Play-sets are. Ps - The Skipper thing isn’t very interesting. Love little sis but the mystery there isn’t as interesting as the Pink Fog.
