Notee: AI Note Taker

I have been using this app for about two months and I now use it in every meeting, even when the meeting is multilingual. I was even at a large auditorium event recently and it worked perfectly. I’ve also recorded and transcribed an all day workshop. So I’ve not been able to get it to fail at anything yet. I do have one critical feature request though that I really miss. I work a lot with agentic systems and am fascinated with the „second brain“ concept. It would be absolutely perfect if Notee could automatically save the transcripts and summaries after each recording in Markdown format to some central platform like Obsidian, OneDrive or Google Drive or even Teams or Slack where an agentic assistant could pick it up and take action on it. I read something about an auto save feature but don’t find it anywhere in the app, and having to manually save each time creates a lot of friction.

As it stands, this app is amazing at capturing and transcribing audio, especially with conversation and dynamic back-and-forth. It’s fairly decent when it comes to separation and extremely private, because it only saves the necessary immediate, but encourages conversation and federal exploration from the user to go deeper, which often enforces the solidification of perspective or the complete rehearsal through actual perspective by forcing you to argue both sides or correct yourself due to lack of authorization, it does decently track speakers upwards 3 to 5 is the most I’ve captured in a single session over the course of an hour and was very consistent. However, the only downside I can mention are it doesn’t warn you that conversations had with the assistant afterwards about the meeting or recording are not saved so anything pertinent or important that you derive from that conversation, post recording and analysis summary is absolutely needed to copy and paste manually and save elsewhere, as well as the conversation with the AI forces you to be aware of your own context and remember and maintain it or be self-aware and honest about it in retrospect due to its limited scope of contextual awareness. It is very face value with what the recording capture and what is being said, there’s not much to say for semantic reasoning or depth beyond that unless context is given after the fact and conversation with the AI can get very deep if you are aware of tuned and precise on your position direction or open minded about growth as an individual as it pertains to the situation 100% recommend this and would love to see contextual awareness, and semantic reasoning get significant update but even without it it works better than you think

I subscribed to Notee: AI Note Taker and was initially impressed by the summaries it generated after meetings. However, because I have an Apple iPhone and a tablet, I logged into my account on this platform, expecting—like with all other apps—that it wouldn’t be a problem as a single user. I had no issues accessing the Notee app or using it to record. Since I was using different devices, I expected that during an update, they would show recordings from both devices. The next day, I checked each device and realized the recordings had not synchronized across both devices, and all recordings were missing from the tablet, the second device I used. I tried to send an in-app message from the tablet, but even though I had a subscription and was logged in, the feature was grayed out. I decided to email support from my iPhone, explaining the problem. It's been a week since my initial message. I followed up with another message, but I still haven't received any response. Unfortunately, this results in a loss of irreplaceable high-level content, with consequences that cannot be recovered. My advice is to have a backup method for AI note-taking. The technology is still new and cannot be relied on fully. Also, luckily, my trial was only a weekly subscription.
