Norton Ad Blocker

I had a really hard time trying to figure out how to contact to customer support but I finally took off block all cookies and was able to get in touch with many agents who helped me. Since iOS 17 Ad Block stopped working, but after deleting & reinstalling ad block & Norton 360 & rebooting my phone. Then clearing cache and rebooting phone & reenabling block all cookies it finally worked again!! So hopefully anyone who is having problems with their Ad block not working since iOS 17 update can read this and fix the problem too!!

Last month I noticed that I was getting a lot more pop-ads than I ever had, even though I had them blocked on my Apple settings. Specifically, I was getting those terrible boxes of ads that roll up from the bottom or side of a page, blocking 1/2 of it, that are almost impossible to click off. Plus I would click one off and a new one would pop up almost immediately. It didn’t matter what site I was on, they just wouldn’t stop! So, I decided to try one of the free Ad Blocking apps to see if it would stop the pop-ups before I purchased one. I choose this one and I am thrilled with it! No more boxes!! It was so easy to set-up, just turn it on and you’re set. I like that you can enter sites that you do want to allow pop-up’s on, because some won’t work with Ad Blocker enabled. So, I’ll be keeping this free version, as it simply does exactly what I need it to do.

While I appreciate the need for advertisements, they are out of control on a great number of sites. Some of these sites belong to multi-billion dollar organizations, which are not in any desperate need of "a few more dollars" earned at the expense of their online visitors' experience. This application has dramatically improved my online experience. Having the ability to choose whether or not I will allow advertisements feels "as it should be", to be honest. Many reputable sites recognize the ad blocker in use and offer to rein in their ads if the user allows a few through in exchange. That shows that apps like this are, at least for now, shifting a bit of power back into the consumers' hands. I heartily approve. I've had only positive experiences with this app in the months I've been using it. I felt it was time I write a review saying as much.
