This needs to be said. This game, The Grand Mafia, is basically nothing but a weapon used for cyber bullying and cyber harassment, social aspect is truly disappointing. Many users, on a daily basis, cause unnecessary drama over the smallest of issues, giving the impression that they're making every attempt possible to change human nature. Frequent drama in the public chat over 'unfinished resource tiles,' which, to state the obvious, are programmed to be infinite in games like this, especially when those very people have other options. To further add to the disappointment, they bully those who speak up for themselves or their allies and make excuses when you try to reason with them logically. Some users even use their credit cards as a weapon, turning the game into a pay-to-win nightmare and creating an even more toxic environment. The constant harassment and manipulation tactics used by these players make it clear that they thrive on creating chaos and misery for others. What's even more frustrating is that Phantix Games seems to ignore these problems, making the game quite stressful to play. If they were smart enough, they should realize the truth, that they'll always have that particular problem regardless of what efforts they make. Overall, I'd say to just spare yourself the headache and find another game where you don't have this kind of drama on a day-to-day basis. Some of these toxic "players" include ₛₖᵢₜₜₗₑₛ, CapoDei Capi, yeomans1998, ghosț, Cowgirl ✿꧁Ταββγ, ꧁ NEO ꧂, ༺AKKURT༻, ₛₒᵤᵣₚₐₜcₕ, ঔৣÐânyঔৣ, FemmeFataleMama, BSAVAGE, Mrtn0815, t͜͡c٭༆࿐ꁲꋊꁲꂠꂦ꒒ꐇ༆࿐, NERO BLUE. The common factor of those users, all guilty of violating Section A of Phantix Games Terms Of Service, printed on their website.

Nexus War contains gameplay similar to the average strategy game. The defining factor is your flying boat used to represent squads. Fighting enemies on the map is pretty standard. The most jarring gameplay shows when farming other players. While defending, troops will only fight for their home if they get a ticket to the flying boat. If they do not get a seat on the boat, they take the day off and watch the city burn. It is amusing to attack a player with twice as many troops as you but they did not upgrade a hero, stationed on the boat, enough to strengthen the size of their squad. This allows you to keep funneling attacks because the number of troops on the defending flying boat do not increase and your victory is guaranteed every attack. As long as your flying boat is bigger than the defenders, you can farm the defender all day. Have not seen a reliable way around this and it becomes pretty telling when you get big enough to wipe out entire clans whose flying boats are not big enough combined to meet the size of your cooler, larger flying boat. Very strange defense mechanic but I just throw up a shield 3 minutes after farming and no one can touch me anyway.

Nexus War is one of those games that simply hits every right note. When I had initially downloaded the game, I didn’t expect the level of quality and passion the game seemed to have put in it. For an MMO the world building, voice acting, and story is incredible. Nexus War is your classic kingdom building and alliance game, however the level of detail from every step truly makes the game feel alive. The alliance systems are very well done, the general gameplay feels rewarding and keeps you captivated, The game gives you plenty of ways to acquire premium currency, and for a game that’s only begun it’s life cycle, it has had a great launch and a promising future. Nexus War is a game made with quality and passion in mind. I really believe that most can attest that from the game itself. For those reasons, Nexus War is a 5/5 for me.
