Nextory: Audiobooks & E-books

I started with Audible, but when it quickly went through my one credit a month, I was annoyed. Their free catalog is lackluster and it adds up to buy book after book…for just $18 a month on Nextory I have access to EVERY good book I needed credits for on audible. So grateful for finding this app!

I’ve always rejoice hearing stories of my friends. And I’ve always enjoyed stories well told. For example, how mosquitoes have affected our lives, what factors were affecting the decision making during our last pandemic, or the story of a loved person that never leaves our memories: these are stories of humans that somehow become the property of a publisher, and that one has to pay every time to have the luxury of reading them. Thanks to Nextory, thousands of books become available more easily and affordably. I’m really thankful to Nextory.

The catalogue is great, so many titles, new and old ones. Although I found things that could improve the app tremendously: - No Apple car play app: this is very important to me because I like to listen to my books mostly in the car and it’s very distracting to have to use your phone. - The skip button is only 15seconds. This might seems stupid but it would be great that it can be bigger than that like 30 seconds. - No chapters inside the books. This makes impossible to follow a book with the written version. I love to listen to my books in the morning and continue at night before bed with the written version. It’s really hard to find where you are because there are no chapters inside the super lengthy audio. thanks for all the work you do!
