NewsNation: Unbiased News

If you have been searching for real unbiased tv news …your search is over. It is typically a lot of work to get the full picture having to jump around from biased news on one side to biased on another. No longer. NewsNation has got you covered … and they aren’t just blowing smoke. Yes … Cuomo came from a hard left biased organization and still leans left. But he has dialed it back … and his show is an opinion show… not to mention that he regularly has someone on to provide balance (love the segments with O’Reilly). But opinion aside … the news is real … and isn’t trying to brainwash you or convince you one way or the other. They find representation from multiple points of view and do not underweight one opinion by having its representation be relatively silent or incompetent (a CNN trick). NewsNation typically provides intelligent debate when differing opinions exist. This is as it should be. Keep up the good work.

I see a lot of hate here for Cuomo, but I’m gonna be the odd one out and say I’m so glad to watch him again. His style is refreshing and definitely non-biased. He jabs at the left almost as much as the right. He makes a point to push for more parties and talks about how toxic our two party system (in practical terms) is. People make mistakes in life and he shouldn’t be banned from his decades long profession over an incident he’s apologized for on numerous occasions. He’s a good journalist and has great insights. I’m still discovering other anchors in the network and was surprised to see some other familiar faces. Looking forward to this network doing good things!

I watch NewsNation on a daily basis, but I expected a bit more from their app. It is clunky, ad-heavy, and forces video playback when you simply want to read an article. There is no option to remove automatic video playback, and it covers half the screen as you try to read an article. Also, in the TV provider section, there is no option for streaming or satellite providers (e.g., YouTubeTV, Dish, Directv). However, they list every no-name cable provider you’d ever think of. I don’t understand that one at all. Why ignore all of us who watch you on streaming or satellite platforms? (I imagine that is the majority of your viewership!) If they want to gain users, the app must be more streamlined, user friendly, and look more like their TV channel - and less like an outdated local news channel app, which I am guessing is what Nexstar used as their basis for this app.
