Our HVAC company told us we needed to use this app on our mobile phone to control our new Moovair heat pump. On the iphone it sometimes doesn't tell what the temperature is outside. There is no way to tell if the heat pump is running or the auxillary heat has been triggered due to lock out setting. All you know is that the heat/aux option is on. The dangerous bug is that there is a large button in the middle of the app home screen that turns the unit off! So you have to be really careful when you scroll away from the app that you don't accidentally hit that button accidentally and switch your system/heat off. And there is no warning if you do hit it. For example, it doesn't say "Are you sure you want to turn your system off?" It just does it and won't warn you. This happened to us once and we woke in the middle of the night due to frigid cold and found the app had turned the thermostat off. I don't understand how a company like Moovair can have an app like this with only 3 reviews and the moovair mobile app has none! Kind of makes you wonder how much they want to invest in supporting their heating systems.
This app works flawlessly. Love it because on can turn on or off from phone any where. Never had a problem once in 6 months since using this for my mini split. Like all the details & functions. Its straight forward easy to understand unlike the remote that came with mini split. Function on app are instant once you press button. The temps on screen seem very accurate, love the auto feature & boost function. Also you can turn off led light at night which is a great connivence to keep room dark. Lots of control of mini split louvered door you can oscillate up or down left to right. Schedule functions work great as well. So far so good.
This is a solid app and makes controlling the mini split easy. I have only one complaint. It seems like you guys updated the app in schedules so that when you go to adjust the schedule settings the settings are defaulted to like ‘dry’, 62 degrees, low fan. It used to show the settings as what I currently had configured, which made adjusting the schedule very quick. Now it’s a bit annoying to adjust the schedule bcause everything has to be reset, when I used o be able to just adjust the temp up or down a couple degrees quite quickly.
