I’ll change my review from poor to excellent. I’m using the home app to remotely control the Napoleon HVAC dual fuel system. The issue was no support and one way communication from thermostat to app, but not app to thermostat. If anyone has trouble with this app, call support, don’t email or use the form support. The number is listed in your app and activate analytics. After about 20 minutes the issue was resolved!

Love my Prestige Phantom 500, only thing missing on the app is propane tank level.

As of the date of this review, the app has some real potential but is almost useless in its current version. All the options are there and the layout is decent but the commands do not sync with the fireplace. I tried creating favorites for different viewing scenes but none of them work. No matter what I preset a favorite to, the ember bed always turns on pink. I don’t have pink as a setting in any of my favorites. It also doesn’t align with the weather station or heat turning on/off. Sometimes the weather station will be on and viewable in the fireplace but showing as off in the app. There is also an infinite color spectrum to choose from for the ember bed in the app, but the fireplace only has 6 distinct LED color lights. Meaning if you try choosing a dark red for example, it will light up pink. Most of the time if you select any colors too different from the 6 built in to the fireplace it just won’t change the color at all, even though the app leaves it selected. There also seems to be a built in timer that turns the fireplace off after 24 hours. I want to leave the heat on with the thermostat set to always keep the room a nice temperature, even when the fire, weather station and ambient light are all off. However every morning I wake up and the entire fireplace is off, including the heat. There is a timer option build into this app but I have it turned off. So something is still causing everything to power down.
