Life changing! I originally downloaded this app to build habits. Checking each habit I’ve completed feels so satisfying. It’s that small sense of pride that keeps you going. No matter how small that change seems, when you incorporate into your everyday life, it makes a difference. This app gives me an excuse to not skip out on small tasks from flossing to getting ahead of my assignments. The functions could be a bit smoother and the emoji keyboard has a small scrolling back-and-forth bug, but this app still does its job and completes its purpose well. The thing I love most about this app is how you can build a series of routines and have a timer for each of them. If you take too long, then the timer will turn red and begin to count your overtime. That has shown me when I surprisingly take too long on something that I didn’t think was a problem. Best of all, you have the option to make habits repeat between certain weekdays or a number of times a week, and if you do finish something that was a goal, you can mark it off forever. For example, when I got my braces off today, I could mark my habit of wearing elastics as forever completed. :) Something this app could change is seeing progress as “last 7 days” or “last 30 days” instead of “this week” or “this month”. Because when you just started a month, there’s not much to see with “this month,” and that forces me to scroll back to see my progress from last month, which is less efficient.
I’ve tried more than a few routine-building apps and this is by far the one closest to what I’ve always wanted in one of these. First of all— NO TIMER (or at least the option to turn it off.) Timers have always been a source of stress in my routines because I can’t always stick to whatever I’ve assigned a habit. Secondly— the LOOK! I’m a spreadsheet girl, plain and simple as that. The customization is always fun too. And finally— the routines themselves! I love that I can easily make weekly and daily habits and toggle between having them on specific days or just up to a certain # of times in a given time range. My only gripe is that the app doesn’t keep my appearance preference (dark mode) when I access the app via a widget. I’m sure it’ll get addressed soon enough. Anyway, this is well worth my money :) (written about a week into using it)
MUST HAVE APP #TopGrossing I’ve been using MyRoutine off and on for a very long time now, almost a year and a half. I love this app, and the only reason I ever deleted it off my phone was cause of storage issues. But here recently with my new change of avenue job wise, I’ve found another reason to add structure and organization to my life. Sense a younge age I’ve always struggled with keeping a set schedule and remembering things I need to do throughout the day. But notebooks never worked, they were on paper, and I ALWAYS lose paper, but I don’t lose my phone. So why not slap it into a app put it on your phone and know your schedule always. MyRoutine helps me have everything plus some. It’s structure is amazing, I’ve never expirenced any type of bugs or glitches. Super smooth iOS app and Apple friendly. AMAZING APP, ADHD friendly!!!!💪🏼🔥‼️
