I joined after a friend sent me a request. I thought this was going to be great. I did the surveys and I even ordered a few things using their referral links. I started gaining points. I thought it was good. And then I started with some of the longer surveys to try and get some bigger points and after sitting for a really long time for some of them and not receiving the points I expected, I still said OK it happens. I had gone after a few major bonus offers, including one from Sunbasket, and had potential for some big points. I was really excited. I downloaded a few games and started putting more into leveling up, which included time and real money. Then out of the blue, I can’t log into my system and it tells me “deactivated account, contact customer service.” I contact customer service who respond by email to tell me “this account was deactivated due to violation of program terms with respect to special offer/offer services provided by our site and/or partner service sites.” It doesn’t even tell me what I did wrong and how egregious it was that my account should be deactivated. I asked for further explanation and received the same line and that a further review would maintain closure of my account and this would be the final response. In my account, including pending, in points I have the equivalents of over $150 in gift cards. With the games, it would’ve been closer to over $250 and they just deactivated me without warning and without any of my rewards. I ended up spending extra money on sites, services, and games I wouldn’t have chosen if it weren’t for this company. All I can do now is cry. Be careful. I would not recommend them. Too bad I can’t give them 0 stars.
Been using mypoints for years. Love it but the app stinks. A lot of the time I try to use the portal to shop, MP is like a window frame around the store I'm shopping. Sometimes I'm unable to completely scroll down in the store because MPs frame overlaps part of the store view. Happens when I try to checkout, the checkout button is below MPs frame and it won't let me scroll down far enough. (iPhone SE). Don't have issues if I use a browser to open MP and link to a store, only with the app. Also surveys stink. Sometimes I'm trying to zoom out to read the print on a survey, and I'll accidentally swipe right. And the screen will revert to the main survey page. But the survey I was on is now gone. So I don't get to complete it. Also sometimes as I'm completing a survey, there seems to be a bug and the app freezes. And I have no option but to force quit the app. And lose credit for the survey. Claiming monthly bonus points is difficult, it's a hint to find where to claim them. Since it's once a month, I never remember where it is. On the website it's easy to find. App has limited use, but it's seriously annoying to spend 15 minutes on a survey, just to lose it. The one I lost today was a week-long participation survey that would have paid out real$. Not happy. Plus, when I'm in the app doing surveys, sometimes the survey will require landscape mode. And the app won't let me turn to landscape mode. Again, lost good $ surveys on this. Obviously the developers don't read the reviews or my complaints that I send them, because these are still issues, months and months later.
As I read from another person you complete a study and then after you finish and submit it it gives you the 5 points instead of what you should’ve gotten. Also I have done several of the discovery items they tell you to do but them don’t get the points for them. I’ve lost over 6000 points due to this happening and when I reported it sometimes I get my points back sometimes they don’t even respond to my emails, some the help section doesn’t let you send the complaint and sometimes they give you the run around and you still loose the points. I’ve made a lot of money off this app so overall I have no problems with it I just quit doing the discovery points
