This app is awesome. And the more toys you put on your system, the better it gets! I love the notifications I can set up so I know what’s going on at my home at all times!
I liked the idea of being able to see what’s going on around my property at any time of the day. I do not like the fact that this is on an app on my phone and it’s tiny so I can’t see good detail of what’s actually going on. if this were available on computer, it would make sense. But this app option only being allowed on your phone, makes it basically useless. Well I like the idea of being able to monitor things while I’m away from the house, that’s a great option, but having to use it all the time and not have any other options when you’re home is really annoying. In addition, you can’t really edit your notification settings for specific things you can only turn them on or turn them off. I can’t see the beginning of an a person or an animal coming into the picture until three seconds after they’ve already entered the cameras site and the lights are delayed coming on. I don’t know if that’s a Settings thing but now if it is, I have to call the organization to be able to find out either way. there’s nothing you can do with this system without having a customer service person available. I’m still not sure how I like the service at all but I’m already maybe three weeks not even into my monthly amount and I’m already at something like 80% full. The person who installed the video cameras told me I should get Sim cards, but I never heard from, the sales rep after the installation – he had told me he was going to be here – to make sure that I actually have the Sim cards. The communication therefore is not great. I just wish I could do more on my own before I have to call somebody and this app doesn’t make anything possible. Not a fan.
I’ve had Guardian since July of 2022 of last year. In almost 1 year I’ve had over 8 service calls with technicians that are in training show up. Don’t know how to log into the administration settings in the panel says they have to come back just absolute amateur work on a security system that is designed to protect and notify you of intruders breaking into your home. I’ve had people break in my home numerous times with complete access to my security system. Every camera has been compromised due to lack of encryption and prevention of infrared jammers, as well as other devices that jam cameras, and bring down your Wi-Fi protection. Each panel is easy to log into, if you are not in administrator, all it takes is taking the panel off and opening it up. I’ve had the alarm go off numerous times without Guardian contacting me or the police arriving. This company is absolutely horrible for security and protection of your home.
