My Porsche

I’ve been using the Porsche app for several years and it continues to improve. I especially enjoy being able to track the status of a new vehicle order through the production process. Watching my new GT3 progress from allocation to production and eventually delivery has made the ownership experience even more exciting. The app is easy to navigate, provides useful vehicle information, and allows me to check on my cars wherever I am. Features such as vehicle status, service information, and trip data are all presented in a clean and user-friendly format. For Porsche owners, the app is a great companion to the ownership experience and helps keep you connected to your vehicle long before and after delivery. Highly recommended.

For owners of multiple 911, none of the complications works. For example on a my “Modular Ultra” watch face, I add two complications at the bottom, one for 911 Carrera T and the other for my 911 GT3RS and either fuel or status, and none of the show up. I see the Complication placeholder, and when I tap on either one, it bring up the WatchApp but always go into the 1st 911…. You have some more testing and bug fixes needed for your Apple Watch Complications. I am running watchOS 11.5 and iOS 18.5 and I have boot both devices, and re-install the app. You may tested the complication in the Xcode simulator, but testing on an actual Apple Watch is necessary. I’m also a iOS, watchOS and tvOS developer and experienced the same when not testing correctly on a physical device. Have you also considered “Critical Alerts” for when you active Valet Mode or when driving outside of a geofenced area? What about Live Activities for when running low on gas or charge with the Live Activity showing how many miles before empty?

New post- I have to keep deleting my app and now keep reinstalling it to connect to my first vehicle /2018 Cayenne- my Macan works fine. After just about 10 minutes my Cayenne will not go into standby mode and just spins and never connects until I delete the app and reinstall-come on Porsche! So frustrating- started since the newest update. I did bring my cayenne into the shop at the same time- did they do something to PCM maybe? How can I get this working again? I have a 2018 Cayenne and a 2018 Turbo Macan. For months now, ever since I got the new 5G sims upgraded in each Porsche, every Friday my Macan (I’ve done much trouble shooting) will stop connecting to the “My Porsche App” and will NOT ever connect again until I cycle the PCM phone on and off. This makes my options that I paid for worthless unless I do this cycling of my PCM phone every time it stops working, which is once a week. Why can’t Porsche fix my problem?? Not expected from Porsche and not sure I’d ever purchase another due to such an issue. Steve
