MRI RentPayment™

Hi all, I have been using the rent payment for more then two years. I have no problem with it, I pay my rent in two part, usually my last paycheck of the month first part of rent then the first of the month payment because I don’t always get my first check the first week of the month. This works for me. I have been in the situation where I had to do my rent in three payments and it works, my rental office will add a late fee to rent pay and I pay it. Never had an issue yet. I love the app for the most important reason I can’t drive nor walk a long distant to the store for a money order. Cans, Ubers and begging someone for a ride to store cost more then I pay on line. I have to problem paying $4.95 to pay my rent out of my bank account or using my cash app card.

I like apps over websites, however, this app stinks! This used to be a useful app. I don’t know why it changed. Thank goodness they have a website that works & allows rent payments & other functions. The app repeatedly tells me my login failed. The website says login successful & allows me to pay rent. The app sends me to the web to reset my password and then tells me login failed with my new password. The website, again, works fine. Why use an app? Why do the app & website use different databases for login credentials? Does that mean my account information (name, SSN, bank information, etc) is in multiple places? Why not lower overhead costs & ditch the programmers scamming you with this app & stick with the ones supporting the website?

This new rent payment app is the worst apl i have ever experienced. The rent payment app we used for 10 years was a 5 star app, not once did we ever have an issue. This new app they moved us to last year has been a complete disaster. It literally takes 45 mins to an hour managing through all the problems to finally get our rent paid. Immediately having to “download” an updated version every time we try to log in. Always having to reset password. Always having to provide our billing address, which is the same as the address we are paying rent for, and over and over it says the billing address is invalid. If you try to navigate the app it just kicks you out and makes you go through the same exact process above, multiple times until somehow it finally recognizes everything and allows you to make a payment. The scary thing is that i have zero confidence that an app this incompetent is protecting our personal data. WE SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO USE THIS APP TO PAY OUR RENT.
