Monologue: Smart Dictation

I love the Every newsletter so much that the apps feel like a bonus. I fell in love with using dictation with Wispr Flow but realized I could do similar or same with Monologue. I have yet to test M on Mac and hoping it has some of the smart saving properties that Wispr does! (Like if I forget to put my cursor in the right place can I go back and grab the transcript from the app directly?) Stoked to give it a try.

Total game changer! This makes dictation actually usable, especially for lengthy dictations. The ability to create Modes with rules for different apps or websites is amazing. The Notes feature is also very powerful and has allowed me to capture my thoughts ad hoc and send them to my Notion task inbox. Give Monologue a try, especially if you work on your phone and Mac desktop… it works seamlessly across both.

I've tried several other dictation tools, but Monologue has by far given me the best quality and accuracy over time. It doesn't just transcribe what you said, but it processes it with an LLM to clean it up and enrich the inputs, often even figuring out what you meant to say, even if you stumbled while saying it. 5/5 I always recommend this tool when anyone mentions voice dictation
