Monkey Run - Make New Friends

So, I downloaded this app a few years ago and I deleted it like a year ago and would only use it for the group chats they have worldwide. However I redownloaded it about two weeks ago and noticed in the group chats there are like so many bots repeating the same thing like asking in the group chats that they are selling videos not only that it gets worst, PEDOPHILES on the app like straight up pedophiles In these group chats. Monkey on the all you can easily lie about your age so there are so many little kids on these app as well you can catfish or they use real pictures and I try to report them to monkey so many times so they can get off the app but in these group chats there are pedophiles admitting and sending videos in the group chat of going on to the call chat I forgot to mention you can call on the app as well but literally I am disturbed and so concerned. THIS IS REAL. Why are there pedophiles admitting to doing stuff with CHILDREN and screen recording it . I will be taking this to the internet because this is very disturbing and I know using my platform this could help get this app taken down because you guys are allowing this after I reported these accounts so many times.

As many have mentioned this app is SKETCHY. It appears legit when you start talking to people but I personally had 2 people try to extort me and get money from me. The thing is- the people doing this aren’t necessarily men posing as women..but young women offering sexual calls on alternative messaging apps, only to record the action and then try to get money via threats of sending the photos/vids everywhere. This attempt happened twice during the few days i used the app. For anyone who doesn’t know; these are real girls, usually working with a team of scammers so it is VERY convincing if you don’t know any better. This app is absolutely dangerous and it should be investigated. Full of extortion/sextortion scams, phishing, and a staggering amount of the people on there are engaged in soliciting pornography of themselves. It is not mostly women, but of the women on there just to meet people- there is questionable intent at best given the environment. This app attracts a lot of bad people with questionable intent. DO NOT USE IT. If you do: DO NOT MESSAGE ANYONE IF THEY ASK TO TAKE THE CHAT TO AN ALTERNATIVE MESSENGER. These people are sociopathic, and the app developers are accountable whether they want to do something about it or not.

it’s a fun app just really annoying when it comes to rules and regulations. the monkey app makes you show your face at all times or it leaves chats mid conversation. that’s extremely annoying. sometimes it does it even if you are showing your face..it’ll still leave randomly. another downside I’ve noticed is that you can’t do much on the app without bananas or premium (which cost money) and you get some hella desperate individuals (and sugar daddies) on the app with very harassing behaviors. soooo if you do end up using the app I recommend not leaving any personal information (phone #s and socials) in your bio (where creeps can further contact you) just a heads up!!!
