Moji - Language Exchange Chat

Cool app, but I got uncomfortable after seeing so many older men try to friend me. I also saw a bunch of underaged users. I deleted the app with in an hour of getting it. I also of a concern of people bypassing verification for accounts using other people’s selfie’s. People can easily lie about their age and fake being real. I was also trying to type in my birthday to fix it (March 6, 2008), but it flagged me as underage and changed my birthday to a different one. I am 18 and old enough to use this app. My suggestion is to fix the age verification and add ID verification to prevent underage users. Add a filter for gender (ex. Female, male, both). Add an age range (as I mentioned, I was super uncomfortable with men twice my age trying to friend me.) I know it’s not just me who’s dealing with these problems. As for the rest of the features that I can think of, I didn’t really have a problem with it. I was just curious about this app and wanted to explore, but I regret it. Please fix it asap.

I used this app for a long time and I met lots of wonderful people on here. However, I ran into an issue when I deleted it and took a break and then went back to create a new account. It said that I had reached the limit of accounts that can be created. Several months later I attempted again because I wanted to get back on the app again but the issue persisted. I try to email the support but never get a response. So idk. It’s a good app but that is a massive issue holding it back.

Overall, Moji is a great app! It’s been helpful in my language learning experience and it provides a great platform to chat with native speakers of languages. I’ve had some great conversations with people on the app. I upgraded to the premium version, and the benefits seem to be worth the money. However, I’d also like more super likes or unlimited super likes. There are two main issues I’ve run into with the app. Firstly is the repeated user profiles. The app will show me a profile, I’ll like it, and then it will show me the same profile again after a few more swipes. This happens quite frequently and i often see multiple profiles in a row that I’ve seen previously. It’s really annoying, because I’m trying to meet new people on the app and having to swipe through ones that I’ve seen before gets tiring. Secondly, the links to my friends social media accounts often don’t work. The Snapchat and instagram links are faulty at best. It’s fine most of the time because in the chat we can exchange social media. I’m not sure if the problem is with Moji or with the media platforms. Thanks!
