This is by far the best weather app I have ever used and I think I’ve used about nine different ones over the years. I receive alerts about a lightning strike before I even hear the Thunder most of the time. The notices of rain approaching are spot on. Matt and the whole team are so dedicated to keeping us all notified when severe weather is heading our way so we cans be prepared. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Your passion is clearly displayed in all you do and we appreciate it so very much.
Late last year I moved to the Washington, D.C. area from Mississippi. Since I’ve been here, I’ve yet to experience a weather forecast even remotely accurate. Even though Matt isn’t reporting on my local weather, his radars for my zip-code are helpful. But, for me - this app isn’t about my weather. It’s about feeling closer to home. I really enjoy the Mississippi live cams on the app both for iPhone and Roku tv. Sometimes it’s nice just to watch the traffic go by on the tv and see a little bit of home. Thanks, Matt!
This app has the smoothest mobile radar I have ever used. It’s lightning fast responsive, the data integration is seamless and the radar image itself has incredible resolution. It’s super easy to navigate the app as well, though my small suggestion would be to add a “back” arrow to the homepage from other pages (as you currently have to tap the logo) and I could see that being confusing for some folks. My favorite features are being able to keep the live stream after swiping out of the app as well as having access to all the NWSCAS skycams. The consolidated resources in this app make it feel like the most personal and comprehensive weather app I’ve ever used. No doubt in my mind that this will do its job of keeping folks informed and save lives.
