Minesweeper Classic Bomb Games

I really love the gameplay of this app. But the ads are a real problem. Some ads stay quiet with my phone set to vibrate and the game sound off. Others start blaring. That is a huge shortcoming to me. I’d also be open to paying a small fee to remove the ads yet that option is not available. I’ve played a lot of games in a short amount of time but I may have to go check out some of the other ones soon if the ad issues are not addressed. I’m also updating my review and lowering my rating due to the content of the ads. Many of ads that keep showing up are for adult-oriented games. There needs to be some way to avoid that. I’ve attempted to report ads and I keep getting them anyway. There is no way I could let my kids play this game and I’m going to have to start looking for one they does not include the smutty ads. I’ve lowered my game rating accordingly. I love the game but the ads and type of ads make me no longer want to play this game.

Look, this is a great minesweeper app, but man did this just infuriate me. I’m playing the game (it’s almost 4am) and I’ve been slowly ticking my way through this expert difficulty game. Now I’ve been not paying full attention to it up until this point, so it’s taking longer than if I was focused the entire time, but man was this difficult and time consuming to complete. So I’m finally almost done, sitting there with only 4 mines left and about 10 squares. I’m sitting there calculating where it could be and all of a sudden a pop-up shows up saying “you lost :(“ instantly I was like “what?!”. The game reached 60 minutes, at which you lose, because apparently for no good reason after an hour the mines explode or something. Like I’ve been sitting here slowly getting through this game, and I’m finally almost done and am getting excited (as well as mentally crashing because it’s so late) and am ready to go to bed as soon as I finally complete this level and BAM nope. Everything stripped away from me because I don’t have a choice in how much time I can spend playing a level. I’d instantly give this app five stars if that mechanic were either disabled, or put in the options as something that could be disabled. Until then, it’s getting two stars, purely out of rage from my exhausted mind. Edit: I am still actively playing this game and it is wonderful, although I am afraid to play any expert levels because I feel I don’t have the time commitment to try and rush through it. I will note that within days of posting this a developer responded saying that they are looking into adding the feature I mentioned previously. As a player this is tremendously appreciated, I have gone ahead and changed the rating to a four stars, and will definitely give it five when the update comes out. I’m very impressed with how quickly the developers decided to act on this and am very excited to see that they are actively looking to improve the game for each player.

This app was great when I first started playing it a few weeks ago. Then the game started freezing whenever I would win, this was mildly frustrating but I could restart the app and continue playing. I was excited to see an update to fix that issue. After the update the app is extremely slow. Just to open the app takes over a minute. Once the app is open it freezes for 15+ seconds whenever the difficulty is changed or a game is finished. Game play also seems to be laggy and glitchy. This is more frustrating than when the game would freeze when you won. Update: deleting the app and re-downloading it seems to have fixed the issues, rating changed to 5 stars!
