Migii JLPT: JLPT test N5-N1

I’ve used this app for years but recently there have been so many bugs- I’ve found many incorrect pronunciations and there are no longer abilities that there used to be. Previously, you could tap on a word and be shown the definition/grammar/audio pronunciation. Now even if you highlight a word manually- it doesn’t always give a definition and if it does, it is not always correct. Before, you could get sentences easily translated and explained either a single tap. There is also a lack of correct audio playback and no option for audio pronunciation in the dictionary (used to be). The note button also blocks words in the explanation section of tests and practices. Seems like poor implementation of ai or a new database system. Disappointing overall - especially having been a paying member for years and now the app is misleading for learners

This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The lessons are not for the faint of heart, but keep plugging away at the roadmap. Diligence pays off. I’ve only had it about three weeks and I’m learning a TON. So sorry I wasted a year with Mochi Kanji. I’ve learned a lot more than I have with two years of Duolingo Japanese. That being said, Duolingo is also good for learning vocabulary, hiragana, katakana, and kanji. But Migii really brings home the explanations and conjugation that Duolingo lacks. If you do download Migii, please be sure you have the hiragana and katakana down pat. Knowing kanji is also useful. The pairing of Migii and Duolingo is a powerful combination for learning Japanese. Excellent!!

Lots of practice problems is great for learners, but for somebody serious about getting a perfect score or always being perfect there are too many mistakes. I’m fluent in Japanese and just wanted to review so I did some N1 tests or problems and noticed a couple mistakes. Not worth paying for if you are fluent probably… and if I did pay I would just pay for a month(because I just want a quick review), why does it force you to pay for 3 months at once…couldn’t find a way to just test it for a month, you guys should have like a free trial for a week or two or something to give people that are more advanced a chance to see if they actually can review the language or something… I don’t get why the tests have mistakes in them when you have so many users and financial support, please higher a professional Japanese proof reader. If it was a free app I could forgive the mistakes.
