DONT UPDATE DONT SWITCH
The new mhd flasher app simply doesn’t work. 7 failed flashes on it prove that, all with different cables or power sources. This one still works first try. Don’t update and don’t switch if you like being able to drive

If you're on the fence - just do it.
I was on the fence about MHD for a few months but talking with friends and reading the tons of posts on E90post won me over. You just can't beat having one of the best N54 tuners write dozens of tunes for your car that you can switch in seconds. Coming from a local custom tune on my car, MHD cured random boost ceiling limit issues and hesitations/misfires as well. I love the data logging feature as well. For the price of the super license you really can't beat it.

freezing on iOS and constant write failures
I recently got myself the mhd WiFi adapter and started using it and also got the iPhone app of mhd. The live logging screen keeps freezing and the write usually fails on the iPhone. It gets to a certain percent and then fails. If I connect to the wifi dongle with my old Samsung s5 it never hangs and never fails a write so I don’t think it’s the adapter I am pretty certain it’s the iOS version of the software that’s buggy. I heard my tuner tell me that he had 12 iPhone users report similar problems to him in one day! Please look into this problem as I was very excited to finally be able to use mhd on my iPhone.
