This is a great app with lots of good content. The only area that needs improvement is the Svengoolie area and the Svengoolie app itself. In the MeTV app in the Svengoolie section, the content is enjoyable and informative. I have used it for a long time, but all of a sudden, two weeks ago, it simply stopped connecting to the best content. It no longer shows the blog and allows you to follow or interact with it. You can still see the titles and dates of the blogs (sometimes), but when you click on them nothing happens. You are no longer taken to the blog content or follow along as it happens. The same thing happens with the other links. When you press on them to go to the content, nothing happens. Please fix this so I can enjoy the app as much as I used to. Thank you.
Why can’t I live stream your channel on my iPhone 14 Pro Max? Most of Houston doesn’t have cable or internet since the storm on Thursday. I was hoping to catch Bonanza on my iPhone. Any suggestions? Also the Rifleman is so time compressed that I have a hard time making out the dialog and the CC can’t keep up. Maybe you could run fewer promos so your viewers can hear or read the dialog. Sometimes there is a lot of pixelation and signal loss on your Houston (Katy affiliate. Even with the problems I see, the classic Westerns in your lineup far surpasses a few technical glitches. I really like MeTV but this app just makes me shake my head. I think they’d be better just to pull the app and not waste people’s time and avoid leaving a bad taste in viewers mouths. I’m guessing MeTV isn’t a wealthy channel and it shows with this app. It’s basically just a TV schedule guide but in my market it does offer 8 shows to stream. It also offers show reminders but is so buggy I can’t go in to edit or delete my reminders. They offer to link you to a dodgy looking mobile subscription service called “Tudum” which offers some movies to stream. I originally assumed that’s how you could stream if streaming was available in my market but figured out it was a totally different service. “Tudum” has a premium service where you can stream some movies, play games etc but looks mostly like a way to push software to the technologically illiterate. You have to enter your credit card to verify location even if you only sign up for the free tier (you have to read the fine print and uncheck to avoid being signed up for paid tier). You have to actually contact a real person to cancel. I canceled but I’ll be keeping an eye on my credit card statement for charges. I’d avoid signing up with Tudum like the plague. I see no value in it. In my market a 8 shows are offered for streaming but none are ones I actually want to watch. I’m guessing most people download this app wanting to stream MeTV shows. Look carefully to make sure it’s available in your market before going through the hassle of dealing with this app. For a decent app that provides show streaming I’d actually be willing to pay for the service.
