So I have downloaded just about every merge game available between games with as low as 10 ratings and games with 60k+ ratings. I’m always playing them on my down time and I currently actively play about 12 of them, give or take. No matter what events are going on with other games, or what new ones come out, I’m always finding myself coming back to this one. It keeps you playing, goals aren’t too easily attainable but also don’t take days on end of tapping to complete. They are very generous on energy in ways you wouldn’t expect from other games. No forced ads. Amazing graphics and smooth gameplay. I actually quit playing the *dare I say it* Merge Mansion because of this game. The events aren’t dragged on and you can basically choose which event you play next within your merge board. I have nothing negative to say about this game and I’m always excited for new updates. It really is a feel-good game that makes you think about playing as soon as you put your phone down.
I’ve played this game for 3 years now, pretty much every day. It started out basically being a Merge Mansion clone but has evolved into it’s own game. My favorite part of this game is the flower game and collecting the special flowers. There is 1 particular thing that bugs me to no end tho and that’s that you can’t pop the bubbles you don’t want and just turn them over for coins. I’ve seen others that mentioned this and I don’t know why the devs haven’t addressed this issue but it’s seriously annoying. Especially when you have other event pop ups on the board (currently it’s the snowflakes) and those are constantly taking up space as well. Dear Devs, we’ve already forgiven you for the big mess up that made us lose all of our friends on our lists forcing us to restart that whole system, so could you PLEASE just make it so we can pop the darn bubbles already??? I think 3 years of people complaining about it yet still sticking with you as the game has grown is enough time for us to wait… Until then 4/5 stars. EDIT- Came back to change my review to 5/5! Thank you for listening and updating the bubbles!!
Of course the game is engaging and nice to look at, but the concept is not to challenge your mind or skill - only to get you lured into some dumb waiting game for things that you feel like you need - things that fill up your game board very, very quickly and can be EXTREMELY difficult to attain by way of stupid long-winded chain merging - and then you wait some more for more things, but then there’s nowhere to put them. And then you wait for more energy. Oh my gosh, the dumb energy. And then you wait for more space. And then you wait for more things. So on and so forth. Designed to lure you into spending money for digital nonsense. If it were more fun and challenging, and if some of the items weren’t EXACTLY the same as Merge Mansion items (why didn’t you folks take a more original approach?), then it wouldn’t be so bad to try and get people spending their hard-earned clams on your game. But it’s not original, more fun, or the right kind of challenging. Add a side hustle, non-merge game to the original so people can be doing something fun to earn energy during all of that incessant WAITING. ALSO - I just recently downloaded the game and I see every other day UPDATING… why is there no compensation or reward for choosing to use up valuable space on my device with your game updates? AND! It’s pretty shady to not show how much time is left on energy consuming items. You show expiration time on the annoying bubble items, but no time on anything else? Unethical.
