Tailed Demon Slayer: RISE

I want to say straight out the gate that this is an absolutely fantastic idle game. The graphics are great, the pacing is great, the rewards feel like the devs care and the current amount of content is really not bad. But, I can’t in give give it any more than a 1 star review until it’s fixed. Currently, you can only play the game roughly 4-5 minutes before your app will crash. It happens CONSTANTLY and there doesn’t seem to be anyway in game to fix this issue or make it less common. It’s very disheartening and ruins the gaming experience to have your game crash over and over.. and over….. AND OVER!! When trying to play and progress. This sucked so much of the fun out for me. So be warned - until it’s fixed.. This ruins the fun. Now! If the devs fix this? We’ve got ourselves a killer game here. So devs! PLEASE fix this issue sooner rather than later before you lose maaaaany many players… Myself included.

So I would like to start this review by saying I love this game. The graphic are good, mechanics are fun it’s a well made game. However like most games there are various bugs. One in particular is that occasionally at random intervals the game just crashes. These crashes reset the past minute or so of progress but otherwise are harmless. Not sure what causes these crashes but If the developers read this and it’s something you can fix, it would be a really nice change.

This games shows potential but with a few obvious issues 1. Bugs and glitches. For example after watching the ads the game will not set back to normal and will get stuck in an unresolvable state 2. Lack of promised language support. It only supports English and Korean in the game. But the App Store shows it supports more. More specifically please support Chinese languages. As this games similar competitor, blade idle, is hugely successful in that demographic. In that line of thought, adding chat room feature can make game like this more sticky to users. As it will get repetitive very quickly at mid/late stage 3. Shop items are too pricy and too concentrated on usability features. It requires a lot of purchases just to unlock a few features that can be unlocked by other games with 1 purchase and with lower price. This is making it very expensive just to reach a good level of playability and game automation. The good thing is that the animation and game system all seem mature and well made. And I have lots of confidence in the game studio as it has been able to roll out a few very nice games in the past. Once those issues have been fixed I’m happy to revisit my rating and give this game a 5 star.
