Merge Family - House Design

This is my absolute favorite merge game.. actually it’s my favorite mobile game! The gameplay flows well so you don’t get bored and it is generous with power ups and energy! The only problem is I have reached level 51 and there are no more tasks to do.. the game says increase level to get more tasks, but the tasks are the only way to increase the level! Please update the game, I love it and can’t find another game I like as much!

I love this game. However, I do wish there were some side games/events to play bc lives and gems run out quickly and then timers on the output items take forever to recharge. I spend a lot of time waiting with no option but to quit the game after 10 mins and come back much later bc I can’t do anything (without making a purchase that will also run out quickly). I would watch self-selected ads to have the option to get quick recharges or a few lives here and there, but that’s not an option. (But please don’t add ads otherwise, that’s one of the great things about this app! I’m just suggesting an ad option in place of things that currently can only be purchased.) I also wish the items that are produced would wait to “bounce” or “flash” a lot longer. Right when the item comes out of the source and has a match to merge with, it starts bouncing as to say, “merge these” before I can even select them to merge. There should be a more significant delay on these hints. I can see what needs to be merged and don’t need a clue until after 30 seconds - 1 minute at the least. It winds up being annoying/distracting and won’t let me play the game for myself without immediately telling me what move to make. For users - get the game! The visuals and sounds are great and the game is overall an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend downtime, but for developers- there are certainly some simple improvements that could be made to improve the functionality and keep users engaged longer.

Listen, I don’t understand what they’re doing with their storylines between this and Merge Matters, and every once in a while the dialogue is… odd… but everything else in this game is ACES across the board. The art is darling, the sprites are fluid, the sound effects are downright charming. And the gameplay is EXCELLENT. The energy system is INCREDIBLY generous, I haven’t had a forced ad yet—but optional ads are there if/when you need them—and now the current missions appear across the top of your merge screen so you no longer have to toggle screens to remember what you’re making next. I’ve had a couple crashes, but my device is old, so I think that may be a me problem. TLDR; 5/5 Stars, haven’t needed to buy gems but will be anyway to support game development. (I do miss little Oliver, I hope he comes back someday, but I get it, balancing an engaging story with a long haul game like this is tricky.)
