When you pay-off the amount shown as a balance on a line-of-credit it should be as of that moment. In this day and time I shouldn’t be getting a notice of a balance due of interest the next day. There’s no excuse for the pay-off shown to not be as of that moment inclusive of incurred interest to that point and not exclusive. Otherwise, Pay-off is an incorrect term. I shouldn’t have to call in to the loan department to find out exactly what the pay-off REALLY is! Rant complete!

(iPhone user) Over all the app is good... until. After a few days of using the app I get a message that an unexpected error has occurred and to try later. Once this happens I can never use the app again without getting this message until I delete it and reinstall it. This has happened to me about 5 times now. This being the 5th time and why I’m leaving this review! Also every time I leave my WIFI it asked me a bunch a security questions. Once and a while I understand but every time! This is definitely not the best bank app I have ever used.

I do not like the change in the bill pay option. Previously when I made a payment no matter when the date was set, the disbursement showed being out of my account immediately. That worked perfect for me, PERFECT. The new system doesn’t work that way. When discussing this revised feature with other patrons of your bank, they are not happy with this revision either. This is it, that is the only change I don’t appreciate...I know this is a huge software change, if even possible, but it is also a huge improvement as well. The bill pay option is the only feature I use. So you can imagine how important this change would be for me. Thank you for asking for opinions. I so appreciate Merchants Bank.
