Updated review: I reached out to the company regarding an auto-renewal charge, and they were very responsive and accommodating. They agreed to issue a refund, which I greatly appreciate. Their customer service was excellent, and I’m grateful for their support. Original review: I signed up for a short trial only to be charged without my knowledge for a year. $59!!! Very basic knowledge I already knew and most cat owners would know.
I signed up for the 7 day trial for $6.99 and I cancelled my subscription so I wouldn’t be charged further. I even deleted the app after I cancelled my subscription. Only to be charged for the next 2 months unknowingly. I contacted support to discuss and get a refund and the agent refused to refund me because she said I never cancelled the subscription. I haven’t used the app or the training since the initial trial. The only type of remedy they suggested was 12 months extended for free. Why would I want that? I never used the app to begin with and they should be able to see that on their side due to the courses and training programs they have. It shows when you complete them. I just want my $70 back for their negligence to make the cancellation process so difficult. The app is a waste of money as the stuff they provide is common knowledge. I will be filing a dispute with my CC company to recover the money. UPDATE: After emailing back and forth with support, they agreed to refund the full amount back to me.
The app doesn’t deliver what it advertises. I wish I had read the reviews first, as someone else pointed this out. I thought this app would help me train my cat, especially after answering all the initial questions, which made it seem like I would receive a personalized training plan. Questions like asking if my cat is familiar with clicker training are incredibly misleading. What you get isn’t personalized at all—it’s just basic information on good cat parenting. The content itself is good and could be incredibly useful for cat rescues to provide to people adopting cats, or even as required learning for adopters before they take a cat home. It would be great if the developers offered this as a tool for rescue organizations at a minimal cost or free of charge. But as it stands, the app isn’t personalized or worth the current price for individual users, especially since it doesn’t really function as a training app. Three stars for being a basic cat care guide.
