We checked into the Paradisus Los Cabos. Love the resort but the app is absolutely useless. Cannot access any restaurant menus through the app nor book any reservations. No way to book spa services. It’s a shame because if the app were actually working properly and were it useful, it would improve the experience greatly. In our modern world everything is done online and having a well designed app is vital. A huge disappointment. It suggests a lack of concern on the part of Melia about customer service. The cost of app development should not preclude a large company like Melia from developing a well designed platform for their customers. Looking through the reviews of the app it is apparent the issues have been going on for years. Yet they repeatedly ask for clarification of the issues people are having as if they don’t already know. What a joke. Melia, please ask your app developer to stop treating your customers like idiots and fools. It’s patronizing to say the least. You know full well after years of consistently poor reviews, many of which contain detailed descriptions of the problems people are encountering, what the issues are. Why do you refuse to address them?? And please don’t respond with “please reach out to us” or some such nonsense. Just FIX IT.
This was my 3rd time staying at melia resorts !! I luv it so much ! I don’t want to go anywhere else! My 1st stay was at paradisus Palma real my 2nd stay was at the reserve at Palma real Nd I just got back from paradisus punta Cana got upgraded to the reserve Nd then my 2nd week upgraded to the royal service !! It was an amazing 2weeks !! The people r wonderful The service was impeccable! Our waiter Julio was the best !! I can’t wait for next time (6 months) I always recommend Meliá resorts !! If it’s not Meliá it’s not a piece of heaven!!♥️
I’m so sad to see that several people had bad experiences at a Amelia resort. We have been Amelia club members for many years and have never experienced the issues described in some of the other reviews. We have heard that there are differences in the service levels at some of the resorts. We have always stayed at their upper level resorts and have had fabulous service! We still correspond with some of the butlers we have had over the years and have returned to specific resorts for that reason. I encourage you to reach out to their main head quarters and tell them about your experience! We had one small issue several years ago and I called the corporate manager and they gave us a week free at a resort of our choosing.
