Bahia Principe Hotels

We are staying at Bahía Príncipe Ambar to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, it was a wonderful choice! The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt it was a great place for a special occasion. That said, there were two areas that left us a bit disappointed. First, there is no restaurant open between 4:30 PM and dinner service at 7 PM, which made it difficult to grab a bite during that gap. Second, we reported upon arrival that the safe in our room would not close, and unfortunately, even after bringing it to attention, it still has not been fixed during our stay. Despite these issues, we still had a memorable anniversary and would recommend Bahía Príncipe Ambar for its beauty and overall experience, with hope that these details are improved in the future.

We have stayed 5 nights at the Bahia Principe Luxury Bougainville at Punta Cana. The mid June weather was quite nice, a bit hot but with light refreshing breezes. The place is awesome. It is super tranquil, with many beautifully maintained green corners and really super nice staff available 24/7. The food is fantastic with endless options in the nicely decorated restaurant that functions as a buffet - but feels much more like an upscale restaurant. There are other few super nice restaurants around that open for a nice classic dinner and guests need to book in advance due to the high demand. Next time we will come here (hopefully soon) we will definitely book mainly the amazing Brazilian and the tasty asian restaurants. I am sure we both agreed to completely skip the Italian. Few improvements things I would suggest. Fix the leaky shower doors, replace the body wash and lotion options that have strange smell, get tastier coffee brand, and upgrade the gym from its current nineties shape. These are but minor annoyance items that would not and should not change your mind about experiencing this wonderful and beautiful resort. All in all, staying here was an amazing vacation experience and we are looking forward to book another visit in one of Bahía Principe resorts.

This app accomplishes what it needs to on the resorts, BUT due to spotty WiFi and poor optimization requires frequent uninstallation and reinstallation to work. Here are my recommendations to the dev team: -If I have checked in and logged in, to save performance, just automatically go to my stay so I can make reservations and check activities rather than booking at other resorts. I get the marketing behind this, but if I’m at one of the resorts, save the load time by going to the “my stay” page. -The map could be better. The google maps integration has some benefits, but an interactive or simple PDF could get what you want more performantly. Could have them personalized based on the what room you are in with variations of “your room” marked on the pdf version. -QR codes for menus should automatically take you to the menu or pdf, not send you to a web page to all menus and find the dropdown that opened for the restaurant you want. Also, just put English and Spanish versions on the same page. Too many different variations.
