I haven’t got the product yet. However, I am totally blind. The customer service rep could not tell me if this app had been tested with a product called on an iPhone. I find that disturbing. I do not like buying products, only to return them because they don’t work or worse yet, I have to negotiate with the company to get the app to work with voiceover. That is a technical violation Americans With Disabilities Act and Web Accessibility guidelines. I’m also concerned because the Customer Service rep did not know that. It may not have been his fault. However, what else doesn’t he know if somebody needs to troubleshoot this app or product?

I backed the ProTemp Plus when it first launched, and it's been fantastic! Like any product, there have been some bumps along the way, but ChefTemp has been incredibly responsive to issue reports and has done a great job fixing them. The best part about this unit is how well it connects to my Wi-Fi. I no longer have to leave my phone by the window for alerts and alarms. The base unit and probes hold their charge very well, and the entire setup is sturdy and well-made.

This has worked great on my longer cooks and has remained connected to WiFi without fault. The ability to look at all probes at once is nice and being able to drill down on them individually helps set for each person to get their steaks right. I wish that you could have the ability to set all three probes at once and then individually adjust preferences for each probe. The only issue I have with the probe numbering is that it is hard to tell which probe is which, even with the tags that are provided. It would be nice to have numbers etched on the probes.
